・A nation's balance of payments is the total flow of money into a country minus the total flow of money out of that country over a specified period of time. Balance of payments, therefore, is a much broader concept than balance of trade. (国際収支とは、ある国に流入したお金の総額から、一定期間内にその国から流出したお金の総額を差し引いたものです。したがって、国際収支は、貿易収支よりもはるかに広い概念でとなります。)
