今回は、not, no, never の後の or と nor 使い方です。これら 2 つを使い分けしている辞書もあり、実に興味深いフレーズです。本日はこの否定語を並立させる場合、どのような点に気をつけると良いか考えてみましょう。
一般の辞書では、not [no,never] + A + ___ + B において、or も nor も使用可能と記述されています。
1. 語句の並立
・It is not a computer, nor a group of computer programs.
・...it can be used at places where there is no computer nor a network environment.
→no + 名詞 + nor + a...のように a が付く点も興味深いですね。

2. 節の並立
・She left and I never saw her again, nor did I regret it.
→否定の接続詞 nor の後に来る節は「倒置」が置きます。
一部の文法書では、not [no,never] + A + or + B は、A と B が同種の場合に使用され、not [no,never] + A + nor + B は、A と B が異種の場合に使用されると記述しています。実際にはあまりこのルールに当てはまるものは多くない気がするので、それほど神経質になる必要はないでしょう。
