本日も during の用法を補足します。
1. 下記はランダムハウスの記述です。ここでも不定冠詞の利用は禁止しています。
・during は for と違って不定の期間を示すときには用いない:during the week その1週間の間(に)/for a week 1週間の間.
2. 下記は新英和大辞典に記載されていた例文です。唯一この辞書でだけ、不定冠詞の用例を見つけました。
during a lull in the conversation 会話の切れ目に
3. 下記は Collins COBUILD からの引用です。ここでは、普通に不定冠詞が使用されています。

ビジネス技術実用英語大辞典までも定冠詞 the 付きの用例が目立ち、不定冠詞付きの用例はありません。この辺りがもう少し改善してほしいところです。
